U.S. Marines in desert camouflage conduct supervised rappel and obstacle training beside a wooden tower, climbing ropes, field equipment, and distant desert mountains.

Desert Training Rotation

Morning sunlight reaches the mountains as five United States Marines take part in a demanding desert training rotation, practicing the skills and attention to detail that readiness requires. For this exercise log, a Private, Corporal, Sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant, and Captain each complete a different training station at a different clock time. Each Marine also has one different field-gear item recorded for a separate equipment check; this is not a list of everything carried or required at the station. The completion times are clock readings, not elapsed durations or performance rankings. Match each Marine with the station, completion time, and logged gear item.
