Color illustration of five builders standing beside elaborate Gothic, Japanese, Moorish, Roman, and storybook sandcastles at a moonlit beach festival.

The Moonlight Sandcastle Festival

Five builders gathered on the beach for the town's annual Moonlight Sandcastle Festival. Each chose a different architectural style for the evening display, worked primarily with a different construction tool, and completed the castle with a unique decoration. When lanterns were lit along the shoreline, the five creations formed a spectacular seaside village. Use the clues to determine which builder created each castle, which main tool was used, and how every design was decorated.
