The Sundial Alignment Challenge
A public garden’s new Timekeeper Walk was nearly ready to open. Five apprentices each installed a sundial made from a different material, and every completed sundial cast a different-length shadow at noon. The apprentices also finished their work in different positions. Determine each apprentice’s sundial material, noon shadow length, and finish order.
